Sacramento family mini sessions are all the rage and I’m happy to announce that Doug Miranda Photography is offering them during the fall season of 2026 and beyond. Spring mini sessions are a popular option when the rain goes away and weather finally starts to warm up. The flowers start to bloom and the grass is still green before the summer heat comes. You might be asking yourself what is a mini session. Mini sessions are just a shortened version of the family portrait sessions that I already offer on a regular basis. These shortened portrait sessions are a great time to have your family photos update and have some professional photos of your children taken besides the standard school photos that’s taken at the start of every school year. Plus the hundreds or thousands of photos you have taken of your kids with your smart phone that will never be printed and hung on a wall, so you might as well book a session. Fall mini sessions are a great time to take care of your family Christmas card photo and update your family portraits at the same time. This is the main reason why fall family mini sessions are the most popular time of year to have your pictures taken.
